Branding For A Peculiar
Haircare Range



Gypsy Syrup is a haircare brand that offers a range of products for hair and scalp health. It caters to both B2B and B2C segments. Its idea is rooted in the ancient secrets of personal care including haircare that was practiced across the globe all of which is derived from nature.



Objective:



We were approached by Gypsy Syrup to create its identity and set the tone for its brand communication. The aim was to create a premium brand language including the brand collateral and its digital profile.




Branding and Design Language:



Our cue for the branding was its name. The idea was to subtly establish a connection between the brand name and its logo without making it too jarring or over the top. The logo is a part of elements that has been used to create a unique design language, The logo is inspired from the ‘wheel’ on the flag of Romani people.


The wheel takes the form of an ‘eye’, representing a vision of healing and restoration through the mystical nature of nomads. The illustrations of women in the packaging have been designed to put forth the idea that the product caters to women from all walks of life, with different hair care needs.





To break the monotony and conventional design of a B2B brand, we included the dynamic design language of B2C segment there too.
